Recruitment Open Until March 11
The Korea Institute of Design Promotion (KIDP) announced on the 26th that, together with the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, it is recruiting design-online manufacturing platform companies and launching support totaling 1.14 billion won.
The two institutions are carrying out this project to help small and medium-sized enterprises without their own manufacturing base turn their ideas into reality and commercialize them, and to vitalize the design-online manufacturing platform industry.
Eligible applicants are companies that meet the following requirements: ▲ at least five dedicated staff members ▲ operation of an online manufacturing platform for at least one year ▲ registration as an industrial design specialist company. Recruitment runs until March 11, and companies will be selected through document review and presentation evaluation. In order to expand participation by companies with capabilities in operating online manufacturing services, all companies deemed suitable to carry out the project will be selected.
Selected companies will receive various forms of support until the end of November, including promotion, workshops, participation in exhibitions, and matching with demand companies to strengthen their capabilities. The support amount is up to 25 million won per prototype (including personnel expenses for platform companies, direct development costs, etc.).
