"Sovereign AI Challenge"... Elliseu Group Joins LG AI Research Institute Consortium
Supporting the Creation of an Environment for Utilizing K-EXAONE
Elliseu Group announced on the 25th that it will join the LG AI Research Institute consortium, which is carrying out a government-led project to develop an independent artificial intelligence (AI) foundation model.
Elliseu Group joined as a strategic partner during the formation of the second-phase consortium. Elliseu Group explained that the background to its participation was its infrastructure technology capabilities, which can efficiently deliver the performance of LG AI Research Institute's large language model "K-EXAONE (EXAONE)," validated in the first phase, to both public and private sites.
In this project, which aims to build "Sovereign AI," an independent AI ecosystem for the Republic of Korea, Elliseu Group plans to provide "K-EXAONE" in a stable API format based on the Elliseu AI PMDC (Portable Modular Data Center) operating system. Through this, the company intends to support the creation of a "managed AI platform" environment in which companies and institutions can immediately utilize AI models.
The company will also enhance accessibility for general users. In April, Elliseu Group will integrate the K-EXAONE model into "AI Helpichat," its generative AI solution currently operated exclusively for companies and institutions. Elliseu Group expects that, through this, more users will be able to easily experience, in their everyday work environment, an independent foundation model optimized for the domestic business environment.
