Chuncheon City in Gangwon Province (Mayor Yuk Donghan) will provide 1 million won in Chuncheon Love Gift Certificates to 150 young workers employed at local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Applications will be accepted from February 11 to March 6, and the eligible applicants are young workers of Chuncheon City born between 1981 and 2007. They must be regular employees working at least 36 hours per week at an SME whose head office is located in Chuncheon, newly hired on or after January 1, 2024, and continuously employed for at least three months. Their income must be at or below 130% of the 2026 median income for a single-person household. The companies they work for must be business establishments eligible to receive an SME confirmation certificate.
Applications must be submitted online after signing up as a member on the "Gangwon Benefit Easy" website.
The selection results will be announced in April. Selected applicants will first receive 500,000 won, and after confirming in five months whether they still meet the employment requirements, the remaining 500,000 won will be paid in September. The support funds can be freely used for health management, leisure activities, and self-development.
