Chuncheon City in Gangwon Province (Mayor Yuk Donghan) successfully operated a ski class for Dream Start children on January 21 to promote physical fitness and foster a spirit of challenge among children during the winter vacation.

View original imageThis ski class was held at Elysian Gangchon Ski Resort and was attended by 20 children who are part of the Dream Start case management program. The program began with safety education on using the ski resort and continued with ski lessons tailored to the children's skill levels. All aspects of the experience were supported, including ski clothing and equipment rental, as well as meal provision.
One student who participated in the program said, "I was nervous because it was my first time skiing, but the instructor taught me well, so it was fun. It was even more memorable because I was with my friends."
