Kyobo Life Insurance to Provide Early Tuition Payments of 27.6 Billion Won to 4,885 Education Insurance Policyholders
Kyobo Life Insurance announced on December 29 that, ahead of the 2026 school admission season, it will begin providing early tuition payments totaling 27.6 billion won to 4,885 education insurance policyholders starting this month.
The recipients are those scheduled to receive tuition payments (interim or maturity insurance benefits) between March of next year and February of the following year. The average amount per person is approximately 5.65 million won.
Education insurance is a product that provides tuition payments in line with children’s advancement to high school, university, and other educational milestones.
The early tuition payment system was introduced to ease the financial burden caused by the gap between the timing of educational expenses, such as admission fees, and the receipt of tuition payments.
Customers who wish to receive their tuition payments in advance can apply via the internet, mobile app, customer center, or automated response system (ARS).
