This sharing meeting was organized to allow the 31 K-Startup companies that participated in BIBAN 2025, the largest startup and SME exhibition in the Middle East held last month in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, along with recommending organizations and related institutions, to share their achievements and explore directions for further collaboration.

BIBAN is the largest startup and SME exhibition in the Middle East, hosted by the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority of Saudi Arabia (Monsha'at). This year's event featured more than 1,000 exhibiting companies from 113 countries, resulting in on-site investments worth approximately 8 billion KRW and agreements totaling about 1.3 trillion KRW.

This year, the Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development, together with the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency, Busan Technopark Startup Investment Center, Cheonan Science and Industry Promotion Agency, and Chungnam Content Agency, established a 'K-Startup Integrated Pavilion' to showcase the technological capabilities of 31 promising companies in fields such as artificial intelligence (AI), mobility, content, and biotechnology. As a result, a total of 787 business consultations (worth 357 billion KRW) and 32 memorandums of understanding (MOUs) were achieved.

Yoo Jongpil, President of the Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development, stated, "The Middle East is a market where technology adoption is rapid and government projects are active, making BIBAN an important opportunity for Korean startups to showcase their innovative capabilities. Based on the achievements of the participating companies, we will further refine our support strategies and actively expand the entry of our startups into the Middle Eastern market."
