Shaping the Breath of Clay... 8th Cheongsong Baekja Research Society Regular Exhibition to Be Held
Shaping Everyday Life Under the Sunlight
The 8th Cheongsong Baekja Research Society Regular Exhibition will be held from 6:00 p.m. on December 4 to December 7 at the Small Theater of the Cheongsong Culture and Arts Center.
The Cheongsong Baekja Research Society is a creative group formed based on pottery classes for local residents operated by the Cheongsong Culture and Tourism Foundation. The group consistently creates works that are rooted in the spirit of traditional ceramics, while incorporating modern sensibilities and everyday themes.
This exhibition will showcase the results of the members' research and creative work throughout the year, focusing on Cheongsong Baekja. A variety of works that reinterpret traditional pottery techniques in a contemporary way will be on display.
In addition to individual creative pieces by each member, collaborative projects such as ceramic murals and tableware will also be presented, further broadening the scope of the exhibition.
This exhibition not only offers an opportunity to discover new forms of expression and creative attempts in local ceramics, but is also expected to expand cultural experiences for both residents and tourists.
The Cheongsong Culture and Tourism Foundation plans to use this exhibition as an opportunity to explore new directions for the region's ceramic culture and to actively support the growth of Cheongsong's ceramic culture as a representative cultural asset of the region.
