Gimpo City Launches Pilot Operation of "Business Support Team Mobile Consultation" for On-Site Company Visits
Gimpo City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Byungsoo), announced on December 3 that it will conduct a pilot operation of the "Business Support Team Mobile Consultation Center" in collaboration with the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' Business Support Team. The service will be held every Tuesday throughout December in the meeting room on the second floor of the Gimpo Manufacturing Convergence Innovation Center.
This initiative is a customized consultation program designed to swiftly address management challenges faced by local businesses on-site, in cooperation with the Gyeonggi Regional Office of SMEs and Startups. The Business Support Team is a government support program operated by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, in which experts in various fields-including human resources and labor, tax and accounting, law, patents, and marketing-participate to help resolve difficulties encountered by small and venture businesses, as well as small business owners.
Through this pilot operation, Gimpo City plans to provide consultation and support for the complex management issues faced by local companies. The mobile consultation center will operate five times in total, every Tuesday in December from 09:00 to 18:00, at the meeting room on the second floor of the Gimpo Manufacturing Convergence Innovation Center.
Consultations will primarily be provided to businesses that have made advance reservations, but on-site registration will also be available depending on circumstances to allow more companies to participate. Eligible applicants include small and venture businesses, small business owners, and self-employed individuals with business locations in Gimpo City. A Gimpo City official stated, "The significance of this Business Support Team Mobile Consultation Center lies in the 'on-site, hands-on support,' where professional consultants visit Gimpo directly to help address companies' concerns together. Based on the results of this pilot operation, we will consider establishing regular operations after 2026 to expand practical support that local businesses can truly benefit from."
