Compassion Korea announced on December 1 that it successfully held the 'Table for All 2025 Charity Dinner' on November 30, in collaboration with Korea’s top chefs and food and beverage professionals, to support children around the world suffering from poverty and disasters.

Now in its fifth year, the 'Table for All' campaign is Compassion Korea’s flagship donation campaign, run with the voluntary contributions of food and restaurant industry professionals under the theme, "A table where everyone who shares a meal becomes happy." This year’s donations will be used to support children and families in Uganda who are living in hunger due to recurring natural disasters and climate change.

As part of the campaign, the 'Table for All 2025 Charity Dinner' was held at Grand Walkerhill Seoul on November 30, with a record number of chefs joining the cause. The participating chefs included: Cho Heesook (Hansikgonggan), Seo Hyunmin (Restaurant Allen), Cho Eunhee and Park Seongbae (Onji Eum), Lee Jun (Soigne), Choi Hyunseok (Choi Dot), Son Jongwon (Eatanic Garden and L’Amant Secret), Kim Seongil and Cha Doyeong (La Yeon), Kim Dongwook (Moony), Yoo Seongyeop (Sanro), and Kang Mingoo (Mingles). For desserts, chefs Ha Minjae, Kim Myeongjun, and Kim Yonghun (NOTRE DON), as well as Justin Lee (JL DESSERT BAR), participated, making a total of 16 chefs. In addition, the sommelier crew SOMZ and the gourmet content platform METIZEN joined, further enriching the event.

The event opened with a performance by the 'Compassion Orchestra,' led by art director and violinist Kim Kyunga, who is also a Compassion sponsor. Around 200 sponsors attended, sharing the spirit of giving while enjoying the chefs’ creative dishes.

After the dinner, chefs Cho Heesook, Seo Hyunmin, and Park Seongbae, who visited Uganda in July, took the stage to share heartfelt stories about the children they met, the moving experiences they had, and their hopes for the future with Table for All. At the end of the event, a charity auction was held, featuring dinner vouchers and cherished items donated by the chefs, and a lucky draw led by chefs Choi Hyunseok and Justin Lee added to the excitement.

Chef Seo Hyunmin, who has participated in every 'Table for All' event since its inception, said, "I am grateful and delighted that we can continue this project thanks to the enthusiastic interest and participation of so many people this year. Through Table for All, I hope to share positive influence with more people and to continue this beautiful act of giving with my fellow chefs for a long time to come."

Seo Jungin, CEO of Compassion Korea, expressed, "I sincerely thank the chefs who generously shared their talents despite their busy schedules, as well as everyone who joined the event. I hope that the small acts of kindness we start here will become a powerful force for change in the lives of children in Uganda, far away from us."

Online fundraising for 'Table for All' will continue on the Compassion Korea website until December 31. The funds raised will support 11,300 children and their families at 44 Compassion child centers in Uganda. Beyond simply providing food, the donations will be used for sustainable self-reliance programs, including terraced farming, crop cultivation education, and disaster response training, to help families overcome food crises on their own.
