Korea Housing Finance Corporation Holds Seminar to Support Export-Oriented SMEs in Busan

Discussing Ways to Strengthen Overseas Market Access for Local Companies
Korea Housing Finance Corporation (President Kim Kyunghwan) announced that it co-hosted the "2025 Middle East Export Achievement Sharing Session and Export Strategy Seminar" on November 26 at the Avani Central Hotel in Nam-gu, Busan, together with the Busan Regional Office of SMEs and Startups and other organizations, to support export-oriented small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Busan area.
This event was organized in cooperation with the corporation, the Busan Regional Office of SMEs and Startups, Korea Technology Finance Corporation, Busan Finance Center, Korea Housing & Urban Guarantee Corporation, Hana Bank, Korea South-East Power, and Korea Asset Management Corporation. It aimed to share the achievements of the "Middle East Market Pioneering Project," which has been promoted since 2024, and to discuss strategies for strengthening the export competitiveness of local SMEs.
The event featured a variety of seminars, including presentations of best practices by companies participating in the Middle East Market Pioneering Project, enhancing overseas marketing capabilities using AI, strategies for responding to U.S. tariff risks, and protecting SME technologies.
Kim Kyunghwan, President of Korea Housing Finance Corporation, stated, "The Middle East Market Pioneering Project has played a vital role in opening overseas markets for regional SMEs through cooperation among the private sector, government, and public institutions. We will continue to take the lead in providing various forms of support to expand the exports of local companies."

The "Middle East Market Pioneering Project" has, over the past three years, held four local export consultation sessions in countries such as the United Arab Emirates and Qatar, supporting 30 companies and achieving export contracts totaling 31.37 million USD (approximately 44 billion KRW).
