View original imageAccording to the county on November 7, the educational program was attended by approximately 250 children from 11 daycare centers, who participated through prior registration. The program was designed to help children aged 3 to 5, who are naturally curious and prone to imitation, correctly understand the dangers of smoking and develop healthy lifestyle habits.
The educational activities included a storytelling session titled "No-Smoking Band, Protect the No-Smoking Star," a "No-Smoking OX Quiz," a physical activity called "Catch the Cigarette Monster" using a parachute and no-smoking balls, and a smoking prevention song and dance. All activities were tailored to the children's level and focused on hands-on experiences.
In addition, to encourage learning at home with parents, the county provided the "No-Smoking Band" storybook as a home learning resource, helping children naturally learn about the dangers of smoking and the importance of quitting.

An official from the Gochang County Public Health Center said, "We hope this program provided a meaningful opportunity for children to learn about the harms of tobacco and the importance of health," adding, "We will continue to promote various preventive education programs to instill healthy values from early childhood."
