Two Out of Three Vehicles Sold Are Hybrids: Renault Korea Sells 7,201 Units Domestically and Abroad in October
Renault Korea (CEO Nicolas Paris) recorded total sales of 7,201 units in October 2025, with 3,810 units sold in the domestic market and 3,391 units exported.
Last month, Renault Korea sold a total of 4,767 hybrid models in both domestic and overseas markets, accounting for two out of every three vehicles sold.
In the domestic market, the best-selling midsize SUV, the Grand Koleos, led Renault Korea's domestic sales with 2,934 units sold. Of the Grand Koleos units sold in October, the hybrid E-Tech model accounted for 2,578 units, representing 87.9% of total sales. Since its initial launch in September 2024, cumulative sales of the Grand Koleos Hybrid E-Tech surpassed 51,550 units as of last month, exceeding the 50,000-unit milestone.
The Grand Koleos Hybrid E-Tech features a parallel dual-motor drive system, delivering a class-leading system output of 245 horsepower and excellent fuel efficiency of 15.7 km/L (combined certified fuel economy for the Techno trim). Thanks to its outstanding vehicle safety and advanced convenience and safety features, it also received the highest score among all evaluated SUVs in the 2024 Korea New Car Assessment Program (KNCAP), earning a top-tier rating.
Marking its first anniversary since launch, the Grand Koleos recently introduced the 2026 model, actively reflecting market demands with improvements such as an enhanced user interface (UI), upgraded infotainment features, the addition of a panoramic sunroof, and new interior and exterior color options.
In addition, Renault Korea's October domestic sales included 447 units of the coupe-style SUV Arkana, available at a compact sedan price; 391 units of the steady-selling SUV QM6; 22 units of the all-electric Scenic E-Tech 100% Electric; and 16 units of the midsize sedan SM6.

For exports in October, Renault Korea shipped a total of 3,391 units, including 2,245 units of the Arkana and 1,146 units of the Grand Koleos (exported as the New Renault Koleos). Hybrid models also accounted for the majority of exports last month, with 1,072 units of the Arkana and 1,023 units of the Grand Koleos, totaling 2,095 units, or approximately 62% of total export volume.
