Air Busan Marks First Anniversary of Busan?Bali Route, Surpasses 67,000 Cumulative Passengers
Successful Launch of Gimhae Airport’s First Direct Flight to Indonesia
Special Promotion for Ten Southeast Asian Routes
Air Busan (CEO Jung Byungsub) is celebrating the first anniversary of its Busan-Bali route.
On October 30 last year, Air Busan launched flights from Gimhae Airport to Bali, Indonesia, establishing the airport’s first direct route to Indonesia.
Over the past year since its launch, the airline has operated approximately 400 flights and carried a cumulative total of about 67,000 passengers. During the peak summer season, the route maintained a load factor of over 80%, receiving strong support from local travelers.
Currently, the Busan-Bali route operates exclusively four times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday). By offering this service, Air Busan has eliminated the previous inconvenience of having to transfer at Incheon Airport, demonstrating the potential for long-haul routes departing from Gimhae Airport.
To mark the first anniversary, Air Busan is holding a special ticket promotion for ten Southeast Asian routes. The promotion runs from 11 a.m. on October 28 to October 31, with the travel period from October 28 to March 28 of the following year. Customers who purchase tickets for these routes will receive a 30,000 won discount coupon for a bundle service that includes seat selection and additional baggage allowance. Further details are available on the Air Busan website and mobile app.
