Emart Launches Pre-Order for Pickled Napa Cabbage: 60,000 Boxes Available with 10,000 Won Discount
Order via Emart App Order Pick from October 23 to 29
Supply Increased by 20,000 Boxes Compared to Last Year
Additional Benefit of 3,000 e-Money Points
Emart announced on October 22 that it will hold a pre-order event for pickled napa cabbage from October 23 to 29.
Customers can place orders through the Emart application, Order Pick, and select an in-store pickup date between November 14 and December 12, excluding Sundays and store holidays.
This year, Emart has increased the supply of regular pickled napa cabbage (20kg per box) by 20,000 boxes compared to last year's pre-order event, offering a total of 60,000 boxes across all stores. When purchasing with an event card, the price is discounted by 10,000 won to 27,800 won. Pre-order customers will also receive an additional 3,000 e-money points, which can be used like cash in stores after the pickup period.
To prepare for the winter kimchi-making season, Emart signed advance supply contracts with napa cabbage farms in Haenam, Mungyeong, and Gangneung before planting began earlier this year, and secured more than two new pickled cabbage factories to offer the event at the lowest possible price.
In addition to regular pickled napa cabbage, the 'Beta Fresh Pickled Napa Cabbage (20kg per box),' known for its crunchy and firm texture and steady demand, will be available at a discounted price of 49,800 won for 10,000 boxes across all stores when purchased with an event card. The newly introduced 'Golden Pickled Napa Cabbage (20kg per box)' will also be available for the first time this year, limited to 10,000 boxes at a discounted price of 45,800 won.
Furthermore, Emart is offering 'Pickled Altari Radish (5kg per box)' for the first time this year at a discounted price of 39,900 won when purchased with an event card. For kimchi seasoning, while only one flavor was available last year, this year Emart is offering both 'Central Style' and 'Southern Style Kimchi Seasoning' (4kg each, event price of 39,800 won) as separate options.
