[2025 Audit] Kim Dongyeon: "No Plans to Relocate Gyeonggi-do Agricultural Research and Extension Services"
Kim Dongyeon, Governor of Gyeonggi Province, stated that there are no plans to relocate the Gyeonggi-do Agricultural Research and Extension Services.
On October 21, during the National Assembly Public Administration and Security Committee's audit of Gyeonggi Province held at the Gyeonggi Provincial Government Office, Governor Kim responded to a question from Kwon Chilseung, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea, regarding the potential relocation of the Agricultural Research and Extension Services.
Governor Kim explained, "Relocating the institute would require about 600,000 square meters of land, and the relocation cost alone would amount to 400 billion won," adding, "We are not currently considering relocation."
