Busan Regional Public Procurement Service Selects Four Local Companies for "Excellent Procurement Product" Designation
Expansion of Market Access Expected for SMEs Recognized for Technological Capabilities and Quality
The Busan Regional Public Procurement Service (headed by Shin Bongjae) announced on October 20 that, as a result of the third round of Excellent Procurement Product designations this year, products from four local companies have been newly selected.
The newly designated excellent procurement products are: ▲ Panotech's "Multicast-Based Distributed Control Type Load-Reducing Building Automation Device," ▲ Saepoong Electric's "Switchboard (High Voltage, Low Voltage, Motor Control Panel, Distribution Board)," ▲ Makesoon's "Seismic Performance Enhanced All-in-One Four-Way Anti-Sway Support for Pipe Bracing," and ▲ Webs' "Highly Durable Synthetic Lumber Using Cross-Linked Polyethylene Resin."
The Busan Regional Public Procurement Service explained, "All designated products received high evaluations for their technological capabilities and quality competitiveness."
The "Excellent Procurement Product Designation System" is a system that reviews and designates products developed by small and medium-sized enterprises and mid-sized companies that demonstrate outstanding quality and performance. Designated products receive various forms of support in the public procurement sector, such as negotiated contracts and priority purchasing.

Shin Bongjae, head of the Busan Regional Public Procurement Service, stated, "With this designation, local technology-driven companies will be able to secure stable sales channels," adding, "We will continue to actively support companies' technological innovation and growth through public institution promotion and policy support."
