Yeongdeungpo District to Host "Daycare Center Festival" on the 24th
Operated Under Three Themes: Childcare, Play, and Safety
Yeongdeungpo District in Seoul (District Mayor Choi Hokwon) will host the "2025 Daycare Center Festival" at Yeongdeungpo Park on October 24. The festival is expected to attract around 2,000 participants, including families with infants and young children as well as childcare staff from the district. A variety of hands-on programs will be offered under three themes: childcare, play, and safety.

View original imageAt the event venue, creative experience booths will be set up where children can participate directly, such as making sea creature fans, creating three-dimensional picture frames, and trying on traditional costumes from around the world. In addition, the Yeongdeungpo Police Station and Fire Station will jointly conduct practical safety training activities using safety facilities.
On the green lawn, an outdoor play area called "Here and There Seoul-Style Kids Cafe" will be operated. Various play facilities, including a whack-a-mole game, Lego and big blocks, and kids riders, will be open free of charge, allowing children to participate freely. In addition, a flea market organized by the Yeongdeungpo District Daycare Center Association will be held, with all proceeds donated to charity.
