Disney, Pixar, and Marvel character art installations have been added to help children receive treatment in a more comfortable environment.
This project is part of Disney’s global social contribution campaign, the “Children’s Hospital Initiative.” For the first time in Korea, Disney character artwork has been installed in a pediatric ward.
At the entrance to the children’s ward, characters from “Inside Out” welcome visitors, while the corridors and observation rooms feature “Mickey and Friends,” “Toy Story,” and “Monsters, Inc.” The lounge area is decorated with characters from “Winnie the Pooh” and “Zootopia,” and a space has been created where children can watch Disney content on TV.
Kim Soyeon, Country Manager of Disney Korea, said, “It is meaningful to be able to bring hope and comfort to children and their families,” adding, “We will continue to provide positive experiences through Disney’s storytelling.”
