Goheung County to Host '2025 Aerospace Biz Festa' on the 22nd

Goheung County in South Jeolla Province (Governor Gong Youngmin) announced on the 13th that it will host the '2025 Goheung Aerospace Industry Biz Festa' at Sono Calm Hotel in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, on the 22nd, aiming to lead future strategic industries as the center of South Korea's aerospace industry.
This event will bring together more than 200 participants, including domestic and international aerospace and drone companies, research institutions, and investors, to share and discuss Goheung's vision for future industries and its development strategies.
The main program will consist of two parts: Part 1 will feature a promotional video on investment attraction in Goheung County, the signing of memorandums of understanding (MOUs), and investment proposals for the space, drone, and urban air mobility (UAM) industries from South Jeolla Province and Goheung County. Part 2 will be held in a forum format, inviting renowned speakers from the aerospace industry to present Goheung's vision for future strategic industries.
The county plans to actively promote Goheung's industrial infrastructure and strategic location to attract companies to the Goheung Space Launch Vehicle National Industrial Complex and the Unmanned Aerial Agricultural Specialization Complex, both of which boast the highest growth potential in the Jeonnam region, with the goal of achieving tangible business attraction results through this event.

An official from the county's Aerospace Promotion Team stated, "This Goheung Aerospace Industry Biz Festa will be a meaningful opportunity to experience the region's future vision and potential," adding, "We will continue to do our utmost to ensure Goheung firmly establishes itself as the undisputed center of South Korea's aerospace industry."
