President Leads the Way... Busan Port Authority Launches Personal Information Protection and Information Security Campaign
Spreading a Culture of Information Protection Through Full Employee Participation
Busan Port Authority (BPA, President Song Sangkeun) announced on September 22 that it had launched the "2025 Second Half Personal Information Protection and Information Security Campaign," led by the institution's president, to promote a culture of information protection among employees.
Amid the growing importance of personal information protection and information security due to the recent increase in information leakage incidents, this campaign focused on reaffirming the significance of information protection in a digital work environment through the direct participation of the institution's president and on spreading a company-wide commitment to proactive implementation.
The main activities included: conducting a personal information clean desk check to inspect documents and memos related to personal information; promoting the campaign using posters; organizing quizzes and screensaver setting events related to information protection at work; and providing training to raise awareness among those responsible. Through these efforts, the campaign successfully strengthened employees' awareness of personal information protection and information security.
Additionally, departments and individuals who participated in both the clean desk activities and completed information security training were awarded the "Outstanding Participation Award in Personal Information Protection and Information Security," encouraging active involvement from all employees.
