Cloud computing company Innogrid (CEO Kim Myungjin) announced on September 11 that it has signed a business agreement with SDT (CEO Yoon Ji-won), a company specializing in quantum standard technology, to develop a "hybrid quantum cloud."
This agreement aims to combine the core competencies of both companies to jointly develop innovative cloud services that integrate classical computing and quantum computing. The companies also plan to establish a comprehensive cooperation system covering R&D, commercialization, and government project collaboration.
The two companies plan to enhance technological completeness by jointly conducting research and development of high-performance quantum middleware technology for quantum computing, co-developing technology based on classical-quantum hybrid computational structures, and operating a hybrid testbed that connects quantum simulators.
Kim Myungjin, CEO of Innogrid, stated, "Through multifaceted cooperation with SDT, we will accelerate the development of hybrid quantum cloud technology and contribute to the advancement of the domestic quantum industry."
Yoon Ji-won, CEO of SDT, said, "We will provide an innovative environment where anyone can easily utilize quantum computing, thereby contributing to the expansion of the domestic quantum technology ecosystem."
