21 Graduates from 5 Teams of the AI Project Course Participate
The student team from the Digital Smart Busan Academy Project Group at Pukyong National University (headed by Noh Maengseok) participated in the '2025 U-BDIA AI·SW Festival - Side Project Exhibition' held at BEXCO on September 9.

View original imageThis event, hosted by Busan Metropolitan City and the Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency, was organized as a platform for exchanging the latest trends in artificial intelligence and software, strengthening employment capabilities, nurturing talent, and fostering the development of related industries.
The exhibition featured 30 teams from seven universities in Busan, including 21 students from five teams-CREDITNEWS, JOLO, WalkerHOLIC, SEEQ, and i cane see-who participated in the AI Project Course of the Digital Smart Busan Academy at Pukyong National University. The teams showcased their projects and shared information and experiences through community activities and consultations with industry professionals.
The student teams participating in this project exhibition will further develop their projects into completed works through mentoring and support for their development environments. An awards ceremony for the exhibition will be held after a project evaluation in early December.
At the 'BDIA ICT Golden Bell' event, held alongside the exhibition, the team of Kang Jaewan, Kang Juhyun, and Jung Jiwoo from the Digital Smart Busan Academy Project Group at Pukyong National University won the gold prize (prize money of 300,000 KRW), while the team of Kim Sangyeop, Kim Surim, and Choi Jihui received the bronze prize (prize money of 100,000 KRW).

Noh Maengseok, head of the Digital Smart Busan Academy Project Group at Pukyong National University, stated, "I hope that graduates of the Software Academy, operated to nurture software professionals, will be able to fully demonstrate their outstanding software capabilities in companies and society through experiences and activities such as participating in contests and exhibitions."
