Korea Aerospace Agency Finalizes Mid- to Long-Term Space Economy Implementation Plan Through 2045
Presenting Goals for Space Resource Utilization, Lunar and Martian Base Construction, and Creation of New Industries
The "Korea Space Exploration Roadmap" has been finalized, aiming to expand the space economy, utilize space resources, build lunar and Martian bases, and create new industries to vitalize the space industry ecosystem.
The Korea Aerospace Agency announced on September 4 that it held the 6th Space Development Promotion Working Committee in writing from August 28 to September 4, during which the roadmap was reviewed and approved.

Yoon Youngbin, Commissioner of the Korea Aerospace Agency, stated, "We will actively pursue space development and the realization of the space economy based on the finalized roadmap," adding, "We will identify and support key areas that will strengthen space exploration capabilities and drive the space economy, enabling the industry to take a leading role in growth."
