Yeongju City announced on September 2 that it will recruit participants for the "2025 Yeongju City Family-Inclusive Youth Social Economy Experience Camp" in cooperation with the Yeongju City Social Economy Support Center from September 1 to 15.
This camp is designed to allow youth and their families to experience the values of the social economy together and to learn about the significance of a sustainable local community.
The camp will be held twice at the Yeowugol Glamping Site in Yeongju City. The first session will take place from October 18 to 19, and the second session from October 25 to 26. A total of 20 families residing in Yeongju City, each with children from 4th grade in elementary school to 2nd grade in middle school (10 families per session), can participate. Participation is completely free of charge.
Participating families will have the opportunity to learn about the social economy and strengthen family bonds through a variety of programs, including a social economy experience booth, Social Economy Class 101, creating a family social enterprise, performances, and a social economy OX quiz.
Applications must be submitted in person by a guardian at the Yeongju City Social Economy Support Center. After the application deadline, the final participating families will be selected by lottery and notified individually.
Detailed information is available on the center's website, and inquiries can be made by phone.
