- "Propteer and Datanose Conclude Discussions on Real Estate Data Crawling"
- "Agreement Signed for Legitimate Data Use and Prevention of Recurrence"
Propteer, a real estate data specialist company led by CEO Seo Dongrok, announced that it has signed a data usage agreement with Datanose, headed by CEO Kim Giwon, which has been utilizing Propteer's real estate data, and that both parties have agreed to prevent recurrence.
This agreement began after it was confirmed that Datanose had collected Propteer's real estate data through crawling methods. Subsequently, Datanose recognized that the data could be subject to intellectual property protection, ceased collection, and entered into a formal contract.
A Propteer representative stated, "This case serves as a reminder that real estate data is not merely information, but a digital asset requiring ongoing analysis and investment," and added, "We hope that awareness of intellectual property rights will be further strengthened throughout the entire data ecosystem."
Datanose commented, "Based on our recognition of data ownership, we have improved our internal procedures and, through this agreement, enhanced the data utilization framework for the Richgo app and AI MAS service."
Propteer has been building high-quality data by collecting nationwide real estate information through its own research and public data sources, and by leveraging advanced technologies for precise processing, refinement, and matching. Currently, this data is provided to major platforms such as Naver Financial's 'Naver Pay Real Estate' and KB Kookmin Bank's 'KB Real Estate,' establishing Propteer as a trusted data provider.
