Gwangju Science Museum Launches "Innovation Junior Board"
A Communication Organization Led by Employees with Less Than Five Years of Experience
Taking the Initiative in Proposing Ideas and Improving Systems
The National Gwangju Science Museum has brought young voices to the forefront of its organizational culture innovation efforts. The museum recently launched the "Innovation Junior Board," which includes employees with less than five years of experience as well as mid-level managers, positioning them as key players in internal communication and institutional improvement.

View original imageAccording to the Gwangju Science Museum on May 13, the newly formed "Innovation Junior Board" consists of a total of 10 members: 8 junior members and 2 middle-level members. They will propose a variety of ideas within the organization, participate in benchmarking activities, and receive leadership training. The museum expects these members to serve as active agents in fostering an autonomous organizational culture and initiating member-driven innovation.
Director Lee Junggu stated, "Good ideas create change, and change ultimately transforms culture. I hope the Junior Board will be the starting point for this process." Kim Jiweon, a board member, expressed her aspirations by saying, "I hope that individual growth will directly lead to organizational change."
