Contemplation in the King's Morning Garden... Changdeokgung "Silent Leisure"
Appreciate Freely Without a Guide
The Royal Palaces and Tombs Center of the Cultural Heritage Administration announced on May 8 that it will hold the event "Silent Leisure: Strolling Through the King's Morning Garden" at Changdeokgung Palace for four days starting from May 15.
This event offers visitors the opportunity to stroll through the rear garden, where Joseon kings once rested, in the early morning. Without guides or narrators, participants can freely appreciate the trees, ponds, and pavilions that have stood alongside the palace for centuries. Visitors may also sit on benches prepared at Buyongji Pond and Aeryeonji Pond to enjoy moments of contemplation.
The tours will take place from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. each day, with a maximum of 25 participants per session. Tickets can be reserved through Interpark Ticket starting at 2:00 p.m. on May 12.
