Korea Forest Service Publishes Map Offering an Overview of 172 Gardens Nationwide
The Korea Forest Service announced on April 23, 2025, that it has published the "2025 Korea Garden Travel Map," which provides an overview of 172 gardens nationwide at a glance.
The garden map includes information on 2 national gardens, 13 local gardens, and 157 private gardens. The information featured on the map includes each garden's location, operating hours, photographs, and a brief introduction.
In particular, private gardens are spaces imbued with the philosophy and life stories of their owners, and are attracting attention as travel destinations favored by those who wish to escape daily life, relax in nature, and find inspiration.
The garden map is available at major tourist information centers and garden expo venues nationwide, as well as on the websites of the Korea Forest Service and the Korea Arboretum and Garden Institute.
