Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, Inspects Scheduled-to-Close Daycare Centers and Aging Parking Lots on Site
Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, conducted on-site inspections on the 14th during the 459th and 460th sessions of the On-Site Mayor's Office, visiting Nogosan Daycare Center and the Mangwon 2-1 Public Parking Lot (24, Mangwon-ro 3-gil) area.
This on-site visit was carried out to directly check the future utilization plans and necessary improvements of major public facilities in the area, aiming to prepare effective measures.
During the 459th On-Site Mayor's Office session, the mayor visited Nogosan Daycare Center, which is scheduled to close on April 30, and explored ways to utilize the vacant building owned by Mapo District.
In the 460th session, the mayor toured the Mangwon 2-1 Public Parking Lot, currently undergoing repair and reinforcement due to aging, and reviewed the potential use of idle spaces such as warehouse sites. The district is considering converting these spaces into various complex community facilities, including the Silppuri Welfare Center and senior citizen centers.
About 22 senior officials, including heads of relevant departments and team leaders, accompanied the mayor during this on-site office session, engaging in in-depth discussions on key issues.
