To achieve this, the plan includes greenhouse gas reduction strategies in five major sectors: ▲buildings (energy), ▲transportation, ▲waste, ▲agriculture and livestock, and ▲carbon sinks, along with 74 detailed projects.
During the meeting, the "2024 Anseong City Climate Crisis Adaptation Measures Implementation Review" was also reviewed and approved. The comprehensive inspection results of 37 tasks across six areas?water management, forests and ecosystems, disasters, agriculture and livestock, health, and adaptation infrastructure?were evaluated as achieving an "excellent" grade.
The city plans to submit the approved basic plan to the Ministry of Environment and Gyeonggi Province by May.
