Police: "Left Gwangju... Currently Tracking Whereabouts"
A van was stolen from a church in Gwangju, and police are currently pursuing three teenage suspects.
The Gwangju Bukbu Police Station announced on the 8th that they are tracking three teenagers, including a suspect identified as A, on charges of theft.
According to police, at around 2:40 a.m. that day, A and the others broke into the church office in Unam-dong, Buk-gu, stole the car keys, and drove off with a van that was parked in the church parking lot.
Police have identified the suspects through analysis of closed-circuit (CC)TV footage and are tracking their whereabouts based on evidence that the vehicle has left the Gwangju area.
Police plan to investigate the exact circumstances of the incident as soon as the suspects are apprehended.
