View original imageDemocratic Party of Korea lawmaker Moon Geumju (representing Goheung, Boseong, Jangheung, and Gangjin in South Jeolla Province) received a special award at the '13th Challenge Korean Top 10 Awards' on the 8th. Celebrating its 13th year, the awards ceremony is hosted by the Challenge Korean Headquarters and co-organized by the Korea Youth Association and the World Challenge Foundation.
The 'Challenge Korean Top 10 Awards' recognizes individuals who have brought honor to Korea or have persistently challenged themselves in their respective fields, selected through a rigorous screening process.
Through this event, individuals who have had a positive impact on Korean society each year are selected and those who strive for the sustainable development of our society are highlighted. Lawmaker Moon was honored with the special award in recognition of his outstanding leadership and social contributions shown throughout his legislative activities.
Moon stated, "I am grateful that my efforts to strengthen democracy, improve the lives of the people, and enhance Korea's competitiveness have been highly evaluated," and added, "Currently, our society and politics are facing very complex and difficult situations, with many ongoing political challenges and controversies. I will continue to think deeply about how to create a better society and do my utmost in legislative activities that empower the people."
