View original imageThe Department of Child Studies at Gwangju University (President Kim Dongjin) announced on the 3rd that it recently held a workshop for the 2025 academic year at the Jeonnam Childcare Support Center.
This workshop, conducted as part of a field experience for prospective childcare teachers, included educational sessions to understand the local childcare support system and activities to strengthen leadership skills through planning early childhood education programs based on nature and ecology. In addition, various group activities and recreational programs were offered to foster communication and collaboration among students, as well as to develop a sense of community through practical role-playing and connections with the local community.
Lee Soeun, president of the student council of the Department of Child Studies, said, "Through the workshop, I was able to experience the actual field as a prospective childcare teacher and gain a deeper understanding of the childcare support system. It was also an opportunity to strengthen bonds with my peers and once again realize the importance of collaboration."
