Since 2019, Gijang-eup has been operating a public-private cooperation system to identify households in crisis by signing business agreements with local organizations such as small marts, apartment management offices, and hospitals.
With this agreement, the number of participating organizations has increased to 13, and they will actively share information and cooperate with each other to quickly identify and support households in crisis in the community.
Lee Sangsik, head of Gijang-eup, said, "I would like to express my gratitude to Seobu Jugong Certified Real Estate Agency and Humart Naeri Branch for their willingness to support the welfare of local residents," and added, "We will strive to effectively identify welfare blind spots and connect necessary resources through cooperation with private organizations closely involved in the daily lives of residents so that no one is left behind."
