Nevertheless, over the past five years, satisfaction with civil services through the National Petition Portal has remained at an average level. Therefore, this training concentrated on specific measures to further improve civil service satisfaction.
The training covered topics such as identifying key points in civil complaint processing, strategies to enhance satisfaction on the National Petition Portal, methods for handling grievance complaints, know-how in managing civil service performance, and the use of administrative information sharing.
In particular, considering the recent placement of many new public officials and the resulting lower level of work proficiency, the training was conducted with a practical focus.
Kim Jusu, the governor of Uiseong County, stated, "The most important aspect of responding to civil complaints is not simply being polite, but accurately identifying the needs of the complainant and resolving them quickly," adding, "Through this training, we will improve public officials' understanding of their duties and provide a more systematic civil service."
Additionally, Uiseong County plans to strengthen its civil service response capabilities through continuous training and feedback, creating changes that residents can truly feel.
