Bucheon City Issues 'Youth Culture and Arts Pass' for 19-Year-Olds... 150,000 KRW Support Provided
Bucheon City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 6th that it will issue the 'Youth Culture and Arts Pass,' providing 150,000 KRW for performance and exhibition viewing expenses to 19-year-olds (born in 2006).
This project supports 19-year-olds taking their first steps into society this year to grow as cultural participants. As of the end of last year, there were 6,513 19-year-olds registered as residents in Bucheon, and among them, 2,285 can receive support on a first-come, first-served basis.
The application period is from today until May 31, and applicants can receive the pass (points) after signing up on the official Youth Culture and Arts Pass website. Afterwards, the issued pass can be used when booking tickets at partner reservation sites such as Interpark or YES24.
The pass can be used to book tickets for plays, musicals, dance performances, exhibitions, concerts, and more until December 31 of this year from the date of issuance, but it cannot be used for purchasing books or watching movies.
