Jeonnam Office of Education Holds Council for Educational Autonomy Cooperation Districts
Sharing Outstanding Cases by Districts... Seeking Cooperation in the Educational Community
The Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education held a meeting of Education Autonomy Cooperation District officials on the 20th at Hotel Hyundai by Lahan in Yeongam, discussing ways to create a sustainable symbiotic educational ecosystem and strengthen regional educational capacity.
Since 2013, the Education Autonomy Cooperation District project has been promoted by the provincial office of education signing business agreements with 22 cities and counties to strengthen the regional education cooperation system, aiming to revitalize school education linked with the local community and village education communities.

View original imageThe meeting was attended by officials from 22 local education support offices, who shared the evaluation review opinions from the provincial evaluation team based on self-assessment reports submitted by each district. They also explored ways to enhance educational competitiveness through distinctive regional education programs.
Participants reviewed the strengths and areas for improvement for each district, as discussed at the temporary session of the Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education Education Autonomy Cooperation District Steering Committee held on the 18th, and shared strategies and measures to realize regional educational autonomy.
Kim Jongman, Director of Glocal Education Cooperation, said, "Based on the Education Autonomy Cooperation District project, where Jeonnam's 22 local governments and education offices are stably cooperating, we will promote an education development special district project suited to Jeonnam's circumstances to strengthen regional educational capacity and establish a symbiotic educational ecosystem."
