Lunit Presents 15 Research Abstracts at European Society of Radiology Congress
Medical artificial intelligence (AI) company Lunit, together with its subsidiary Volpara Health, announced on the 17th that it will participate in the '2025 European Congress of Radiology (ECR 2025)' held in Vienna, Austria, from the 26th of this month to the 2nd of next month, presenting a record-high total of 15 research abstracts.
Notably, among the 15 research abstracts accepted at this congress, 13 were selected as 'Oral Presentations,' which are recognized as major research achievements of the conference. At this congress, Lunit will focus on key issues in the field of breast cancer diagnosis, proposing innovative solutions to address the global shortage of radiology specialists, early cancer detection, and improvement of diagnostic accuracy.
Key studies include ▲Research on the possibility of replacing one physician with AI in a double-reading environment for mammography ▲Analysis of AI utilization methods for early breast cancer diagnosis ▲Impact of mammography image quality on AI reading accuracy ▲Analysis of breast characteristics in patients diagnosed with cancer during regular screenings and those diagnosed between screenings. These studies will demonstrate multifaceted evidence of the clinical efficacy and safety of AI solutions.
Lunit and Volpara will operate a dedicated exhibition booth at the congress, conducting solution demonstrations and engaging in various business activities to expand their presence in the European market.

Meanwhile, ECR, regarded as a leading global radiology congress alongside the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), will be held this year under the theme 'Planet Radiology,' with an expected attendance of about 10,000 radiologists, medical professionals, researchers, and industry stakeholders worldwide. Lunit has participated annually in ECR since 2020, unveiling innovative research achievements.
