Ulsan City Conducts Safety Inspections at Construction Sites During Thawing Season
Joint Inspection with Private Experts in Architecture, Safety, Soil, and Foundation Fields from the 17th to 21st
Ulsan City will conduct a public-private joint safety inspection of construction sites, including apartment complexes, from February 17 to 21 during the 2025 thawing season.
This inspection will be carried out by a joint inspection team composed of about 30 members, including the Ulsan Regional Architecture Safety Center, district offices, and private experts in architecture, safety, and soil fields.
The inspection targets 11 sites, including apartment complexes, residential lodging facilities, and factories, where foundation or earthwork or framework construction is currently underway and where a thawing season safety inspection is deemed necessary.
The main inspection items include checking for cracks or collapses in foundations, cut slopes, and excavation slopes due to ground subsidence, as well as the appropriateness of safety management implementation at construction sites during the thawing season.
The inspection results will be provided to each district office, and construction companies will be required to immediately take corrective actions for any safety deficiencies.
