Police Summon Prime Minister Han Deok-su Yesterday for 'December 3 Emergency Martial Law Incident' Investigation
Appeared as a Suspect
The police summoned and questioned Prime Minister Han Duck-soo in connection with the 'December 3 Emergency Martial Law Incident.'
On the 5th, the Special Investigation Unit of the National Police Agency stated, "Prime Minister Han appeared as a suspect the previous day." It appears that the police conducted an investigation regarding the Cabinet meeting held just before the declaration of martial law.
According to legal circles, during the police suspect investigation last December, Prime Minister Han reportedly said, "President Yoon Suk-yeol did not seem to consider holding a Cabinet meeting from the beginning," adding, "It was essentially a gathering of people in a format similar to a briefing. I cannot determine whether that meeting had legal effect as a Cabinet meeting."
