Gyeonggawon Takes Initiative to Resolve SW Imbalance in Province... Training 'SW Instructors'
The Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency is partnering with the Korea Information Science Promotion Association to recruit trainees for a software (SW) instructor training course.
This training program is part of the '2025 SW Future Filling Project' and was established to address the imbalance in SW education within the province and to build a systematic educational environment. In particular, it will be conducted as customized training aligned with the AI digital textbooks to be introduced starting this year.

View original imageThe training will take place over one month from mid-February to mid-March, focusing on the latest digital technologies such as AI, programming, algorithms, and data analysis, with a total of 160 hours of instruction.
After completing the training, approximately 50 outstanding trainees selected through evaluation will be hired as SW Future Filling professional instructors. These professional instructors will be responsible for SW education and experiential activities at elementary, middle, and high schools throughout the province for 10 months from March to December.

Kim Gila, Head of Corporate Growth at the Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency, emphasized, "With the introduction of AI digital textbooks approaching, it is very important to enhance the qualitative level of SW education," adding, "We will do our best to enable more students to develop AI and digital competencies through SW education."
