Highly Pathogenic AI at Layer Farm in Gimje, Jeonbuk... 30th Case Nationwide
The Central Accident Response Headquarters for Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (AI) announced on the 31st that H5N1 type highly pathogenic AI was confirmed at a layer farm located in Gimje-si, Jeonbuk.
With this, the total number of highly pathogenic AI cases occurring at poultry farms nationwide during the 2024-2025 epidemic season has increased to 30.
The response headquarters deployed an initial response team to the site to control access to the farm, conduct culling, and carry out epidemiological investigations.
