Changes in Hanam Life This Year... Administrative System Changes to Improve Citizens' Quality of Life
Introduced Across Five Key Areas:
Communicative City, Economic City, and More
Gyeonggi Hanam City (Mayor Lee Hyun-jae) has posted '2025 Changing Hanam Life,' which provides an overview of the new administrative systems to be implemented in 2025, on the city hall website. This year’s changes in Hanam life are introduced across five major areas.
◇ Communicative City Hanam: Real-time Waiting Status and Online Number Ticket Issuance Service at Civil Service Office Begins
Hanam City offers a 'real-time waiting status inquiry and online number ticket issuance service' for all civil service counters within the civil service office through the city hall website to enhance convenience for citizens. Users can obtain a number ticket when there are two or more people waiting via the 'Comprehensive Civil Service (Civil Service Convenience System) - Online Number Ticket Issuance' menu on the Hanam City website, and will receive their queue number through KakaoTalk notification messages. However, if the number ticket is missed before arriving at the civil service office, a new ticket must be issued, so online issuance should consider the expected arrival time.
◇ Economic City Hanam: Improved Youth Employment Mentoring with Current Employees of Large Corporations
To further strengthen youth employment support, Hanam City operates mentoring with current employees from large corporations (Samsung Electronics, Samsung E&A, LG Energy Solution) without regional restrictions. Accordingly, any youth wishing to participate in mentoring can now join. Additionally, the previous maximum mentoring ratio of 1:5 has been improved to 1:2, providing youth with more in-depth and practical mentoring opportunities.
◇ Future City Hanam: Expansion of Living Infrastructure Including Gam-il Complex Community Center
Hanam City is expanding various living infrastructures to improve residents’ quality of life and increase satisfaction. The Gam-il Complex Community Center, Wirye Complex Sports Facility, and Misa 3-dong Public Complex Office Building are scheduled for construction. Furthermore, remodeling of Sinjang Tennis Court and the opening of Changwoo Badminton Court will contribute to enhancing citizens’ health.
◇ Education and Childcare City Hanam: Strengthening Public Childcare Infrastructure and Providing Quality Childcare Services
Hanam City plans to strengthen public childcare infrastructure and activate the elementary after-school care system. Newly opened on the first floor of Misa Senior Welfare Center is the municipal Hadae Daycare Center (capacity 58), and one care center each will be expanded at Deokpung Sports Culture Center (January) and Misa Senior Welfare Center (February). Additionally, the toy library will be expanded to the Gam-il and Wirye areas, and a visiting childcare support program will be operated.
◇ Happy City Hanam: Opening of Hanam City Health Center Senior Health Center and Creation of Gyeonggi Soil Scent Barefoot Trail
Hanam City began operating the Senior Health Center on the 6th of this month to address infrastructure disparities in the old downtown area and provide senior-tailored health management services in response to an aging society. Moreover, through the Gyeonggi Soil Scent Barefoot Trail project, 15 new barefoot trails, including the loess path at Wirye Neighborhood Park No. 4, have been created to establish a unique walking culture in Hanam City.
