Ministry of SMEs and Startups Recruiting 5th Batch Trainees for Startup AI Talent Development Program
Free Practical AI Training for 200 Young People Under 39
The Ministry of SMEs and Startups is training practical personnel in the field of artificial intelligence (AI). This year, the program has been significantly improved, including strengthening employment connections with AI startups.
On the 23rd, the Ministry announced the recruitment of trainees for the '2025 Startup AI Talent Training Project (Eodream School)' to nurture young talent in the AI field.
Eodream School is a project that supports employment and entrepreneurship by training unemployed youth as practical personnel to alleviate the manpower shortage of AI startups. The Ministry has supported AI-related education programs, opportunities to participate in domestic and international AI competitions, execution of startup industry projects, and internship programs.

The program benchmarks advanced courses operated by AI-specialized universities such as KAIST and GIST, and forms a teaching staff of AI university professors to provide a curriculum reflecting the latest technology trends. Additionally, recruitment demands are pre-identified from leading startups and member companies of related associations to match trainees with companies, cultivating customized talent desired by businesses. A pilot operation of a 'pre-employment matching track' will be conducted, offering company-tailored education and internships linked to full-time employment.
Outstanding trainees, including those with excellent grades and early employment, will be offered opportunities for overseas training, and partial support for meal and transportation expenses will also be provided.
The trainees selected this year will participate in about nine months of training starting in March. The in-person course will accommodate 50 people, and the non-face-to-face course conducted in real-time online format will accommodate 150 people. Anyone under 39 years old who is unemployed can apply.
