Gyeonggi-do Icheon City is recruiting 'Rural Vacant House Maintenance Project Candidates' until the 14th of next month.

View original imageThis project aims to renovate old and deteriorated buildings that are unused, abandoned, pose risks of collapse and safety accidents, and spoil the surrounding landscape.
The maintenance targets are rural houses in the area that have been unused and uninhabited for more than one year. If selected as a project candidate, a subsidy of up to 3 million KRW will be provided for demolition costs, etc. To this end, the city is investing a budget of 141 million KRW.
Applicants should prepare necessary documents such as the building register or building registry, photos of the vacant house, and tax ledger, and visit the relevant eup, myeon, or dong administrative welfare center to apply. The city plans to proceed with the demolition of a total of 47 vacant houses this year.
