View original imageAccording to the police on the 8th, the National Police Agency suspended Kim's position and placed him on standby on the 27th of last month. Currently, Choi Hyun-seok, the head of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's Community Safety Division, is acting as the interim chief.
Former Chief Kim was arrested on the 13th of last month along with Police Chief Jo Ji-ho on charges of engaging in important duties related to rebellion and was transferred to the prosecution.
