CJ Freshway to Supply Food Ingredients Worth 15 Billion KRW Annually to Slow Cali
Delivery Plans for Salmon and Vegetable Mixes
CJ Freshway announced on the 6th that it will supply ingredients worth 15 billion KRW annually to Slow Cali. Slow Cali, established in 2018, is Korea's first poke franchise brand and currently operates 160 stores nationwide.
Earlier, CJ Freshway signed a contract with Slow Cali in October last year and decided to start supplying ingredients from this year. CJ Freshway plans to deliver key poke ingredients such as salmon and vegetable mixes through its cold chain logistics network. It also created a store operation manual for managing client stores. The manual includes hall and kitchen operations, customer service, hygiene management, and ingredient storage methods. Additionally, CJ Freshway is discussing the possibility of featuring Slow Cali's signature menu items in 'Snack Pick,' a ready-meal takeout corner operated for group meal clients.
