Naver Celebrates Squid Game Season 2 Release with 1784 Building Rooftop Event
Naver announced on the 27th that it held an event using the vertical louvers attached to the windows of Building 1784 on the day of the release of Netflix's Squid Game Season 2.
Naver adjusted the vertical louvers, which block sunlight, to display the word "Nenet," symbolizing the partnership between Naver Plus Membership and Netflix, on the front of Building 1784. The event was visible from the Gyeongbu Expressway side of Building 1784 for about two hours starting at 7 PM that day.
Additionally, the sight of Pink Guards, the representative characters from Squid Game wearing masks and pink suits, looking outside from inside the building also attracted users' attention.
Naver stated, "We held the event to commemorate the release of Netflix's Squid Game Season 2 and to encourage more people to take interest in Naver Plus Membership."
