Kiturami Group Supports 2,700 Students This Year Through 'Kiturami Scholarship Program'

Gidulami Group has been playing the role of the "Kidari Ajossi" (Tall Uncle) who delivers hope to future talents for 39 years. Gidulami Group announced on the 24th that through the "2024 Gidulami Scholarship Project," it has produced over 2,700 scholarship students in 40 local governments this year.
The 2024 Gidulami Scholarship Project, which began its schedule this year with a scholarship ceremony in Hwasun-gun, Jeollanam-do in May, has provided extensive support to local governments nationwide up to Gimhae-si, Gyeongsangnam-do on the 20th. Scholarships totaling 2.9 billion KRW were provided throughout the year to middle and high school students and university students selected based on criteria such as low-income families and academic excellence.

View original imageThe Gidulami Scholarship Project is a 39-year tradition of social contribution activities started according to the talent development philosophy of Choi Jin-min, the founder of Gidulami Boiler. In 1985, when the boiler business was on track, Chairman Choi donated his private funds to establish the Cheongmin Cultural Foundation (now Gidulami Cultural Foundation) and immediately launched the scholarship project. Over the past 39 years, it has produced 50,000 Gidulami scholarship students, with cumulative sponsorship funds reaching 35.9 billion KRW.
