20 Million Won Support for Vocational Training Expenses Over 2 Years
The PonyJeong Foundation awarded certificates to scholarship recipients selected for the 'Baldoeum Scholarship' program, which supports job training expenses and living costs for youth preparing for independence.

View original imageOn the 13th, the PonyJeong Foundation announced that it held the 4th PonyJeong Baldoeum Scholarship Certificate Award Ceremony at the PonyJeong Foundation Building in Jongno-gu, Seoul. The event was attended by about 30 people, including Chairman Jeong Mong-gyu of the PonyJeong Foundation, board members, Kim Hyo-seung, Executive Director of the social welfare corporation Children and Future Foundation responsible for managing the Baldoeum Scholarship, and the 4th batch of Baldoeum scholarship recipients.
Chairman Jeong Mong-gyu said, "I hope you will continuously challenge yourselves toward your dreams and carry on the innovation and spirit of challenge of Honorary Chairman Jeong Se-young." Scholarship representative student Kim Tae-kyung said, "When I realized that I had to break through the wall of being alone, the Baldoeum Scholarship was the one that reached out to me."
The PonyJeong Baldoeum Scholarship program is operated by the PonyJeong Foundation to support youth preparing for independence who wish to find employment. Since 2021, it has selected youth aged 18 to 29 and provided various support programs including 12 million KRW for job training expenses and 9.6 million KRW for living expenses over two years.

The PonyJeong Foundation and Children and Future Foundation recruited applicants last September and selected the 4th batch of scholarship recipients. In addition to job training expenses, the PonyJeong Foundation supports all selected scholars with actual expense insurance, employment congratulatory money, certification achievement allowances, and one laptop or tablet.
